Facebook company is now the $100 billion company where facebook attracts the investors

First time the social networking site Facebook, whose user base goes behind  900 million user strength in China and India’s populations, FB went to public on Friday after shares got listed  and the stock is trading at $41.10, much above its IPO price of $38 in early trade.
 
Investor appetite for Facebook shares was mirrored in the listing price of $42 apiece, 10 per cent more than the IPO offer price of $38.

Facebook put up 421 million shares of its common stock up for sale. The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 63,185,042 additional shares to cover over-allotments, if any. With the over-allotment quota, the total IPO mop up could touch $18 billion.
